About Kevin Grammens, M.Ed., MPM

Kevin Grammens has coached soccer at Anchor Bay High School for over twenty-five years. During his coaching career, he has led his teams to numerous league and postseason championships and has earned nine Coach-of-the-Year awards. His teams have been recognized as National Team Ethics award winners as well as State and National All-Academic teams. He has seen many student-athletes go on to play college soccer. For over twenty years, Kevin has taught fourth grade. In school and sports, he strongly believes mentality matters. He has seen what an impact a positive mentality has for students and athletes. Conversely, Kevin has witnessed how a negative mental make-up impairs a student-athlete from reaching peak performance. A confident, motivated, focused student performs better in school, and the same holds true for an athlete in competition. Kevin has earned his Master’s of Education from Saginaw Valley State University and learned Mental Performance Mastery from Peak Performance Coach and best selling author, Brian Cain.

LAKE ORION HIGH SCHOOL

Kevin giving a presentation at Lake Orion High School on having an elite mindset.

"Learning how to take life's situations and emotionally manage them well is something that I believe is lacking in our young people today!  (and many adults!!) It has been awesome to hear parents yelling the skills you taught. This lesson has given me practical tools to use when talking with my kids, and when I feel overwhelmed as well."
